A breast lift or mastopexy is performed in patients that have breast ptosis or drooping of the breast to create a breast enhancement. This is very common in women who have had children as well as weight loss patients. Mastopexy is sometimes performed in a combination with breast augmentation if a larger cup size is desired or if upper pole fullness is desired.
