An abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is a procedure to help contour the abdominal area. This is undertaken to remove excess skin and fatty tissue. The muscular abdominal wall is also sutured to give the patient a flatter abdominal contour. Liposuction is another procedure that helps with body contouring.
